Rondo Media has won a substantial contract as part of a recent S4C tender to produce Welsh language programmes and content for young people. The focus will be on comedy, drama and entertainment. Winning the contract strengthens Rondo’s expertise in producing popular drama series such as Rownd a Rownd and Amdani. Chairman of Rondo Media, Robin Evans said :” This is good news, not only for Rondo, but also for the TV industry in north Wales. The three year contract will enable us as a company to recruit fresh, new talent in all fields of production, from producing, writing, editing and technical expertise.” Gareth Williams, CEO of Rondo added :”This investment by S4C will safeguard jobs in the creative sector in the north and will enable Rondo to nurture and develop new talent whilst also developing the skills that already exist in the fields of drama, comedy and entertainment.” |
